Hi,
As the title says, I'm quite new to all this and would really appreciate your advice. I recently bought a pair of ATH-AD900 and although they sound excellent, they really bring to light just how crappy my Soundblaster X-fi (the cheapest model) sounds. I have about $300-$400 from Christmas and can maybe even justify stretching it to $500 if it makes a big difference. I use my PC for both gaming and music equally but I'd rather have the system set up more towards music if I had to choose. Any ideas?
