After doing research for a few days and deciding that the ATH-AD700 are the best headphones for what I'm going to be using them for. Which is gaming, some music and a lot of movies/TV shows on my computer.
However the problem I have is that the ATH-AD700 are open headphones and the house I live in is EXTREMELY open, and I'm worried that they will disturb everyone in the house, since I'm often up at night.
What I'm wondering is how far will people be able to hear things if I'm watching a movie or playing a game. Also is their a closed alternative to the ATH-AD700 that can provide close to the same results as it. Do you guys think that the ATH-A900 will that be able to compare some what to it?
Also I don't know if this will make any difference but I have a Creative SB X-Fi XtremeGamer sound card.
I have about $350 to spend, however I don't want to spend all of it if I don't have to.
