so far i got down to

MD33 ($39.99 + $10.00 ship @ audiocubes.com) or
Shure E2c ($59.99 + free ship @ amazon.com)

basically, i want BASS. i love ultra pounding bass in my ear (not hurting necessarily). at first i was considering MD33 since people recommend them over EX71SL. but then when i check the price for E2c (which i know pretty popular in here), it's just couple bucks ahead.

so i need help what should i buy now.
should i save more for some other canalphones?

,thx

There has been about 10 threads on Md33's and the e2c's, you should do a search.

But anyway, i never heard the e2c so cant say anything. I do have the 33s, they sound awesome! The bass is there (its not ear pounding but it there) and they have nice highs but sometimes a little to shrill. compared to my cm5 earbuds they sound way better, the cm5 mids seem a little honky.

Shures have a rolled off treble, MD33s will be better ballanced. You should really do a search, there are lots of discussion about these
