I am looking into getting a set of cable from moon audio so i can use my hd600 balanced with the LD MKVII+ (which is coming this week)
 
there are three choice
 
Silver dragon
 
Blue Dragon
 
Cardas
 
 
I really want to get a cable  which i can use with hd650 also( as it is one of the other headphones i want to try too)
 
I usually use the hd600 for everything + classical music( 40% usage)
 
 
 
 
which cable is better???

Definitely silver and there is one for sale in the forums right now.
I have the Blue and use it with my K702s and it definitely makes the phones darker; I think right now it's a mix of the HD600s and stock k702s (haven't heard 600s though).

i believe i seen that FS thread,,that was with 1/8" plug
but what i want is 4 pin XLR male plug
 
I just ordered a 5 ft cable with xlr 4 pin( silver dragon
a 4pin XLR female to 1/4" plug adapter cable,
also a 1/4" jack to 1/8" adapter cable ( all silver dragon) lol
alot of money for them...
over 400 dollars>>> never never bought 400 dollars of cable before...
it is my incoming MKVII+ 's fault lol

Yea it can get pretty expensive though; I can attest to the quality of Moon-Audio's stuff though; VERY well built

After many, many cables over the years, Cardas is the only one that pushed my rig to new levels.  The other cables do sound great, but mainly by getting out of the way, the Cardas cables seem to contribute their own magic to the party.  It works in my rig and to my ears.  I would go with whatever you and Drew talked about, he knows his stuff.
