Need Help Choosing Sound Card

It is just a board that fits into one of the open slot's on the back of the case.

As far as I can tell for the money it is certainly a very good buy...High end components for sure...bitperfect ??? LOL Have no idea what that means.

No it does not connect to the motherboard in any way...It is just mounted inside the case.

It is just mounted to one of the slots on the case...Just like where you would screw down a pci expansion card, video card etc.

Looking back through the thread at your original post you state that you only use headphones.

So a DAC/T-Amp would be what you want...Not a sound card.

And a USB one at that...According to everything I have gathered hanging around here bugging people for the last couple of weeks.

What kind of money are you looking to spend...If you provide that information it would be much easier to find out what your better options are within your budget.

hi i can spend a few hundred dollars. what do you recommend for a only headphone application?

At this point it might be to your advantage to start a new thread asking for USB T-Amp/DAC recommendation's that fit within your budget.

It seems that is the preffered headphone only solution.

I would try a new thread...Some very knowlegable, helpful guys here @ Head-Fi
