It is just a board that fits into one of the open slot's on the back of the case.
Where you would plug the L/R speaker into your sound card(usually the green one) to the L/R input of the TIO...Then you go out to your speakers/headphones...Sound card out to input of the TIO...Then out to your headphones or speakers...All the connections are made outside the case.

I have no idea...Here is a pretty detailed review of the Prodigy.
Looking back through the thread at your original post you state that you only use headphones.
So a DAC/T-Amp would be what you want...Not a sound card.
And a USB one at that...According to everything I have gathered hanging around here bugging people for the last couple of weeks.
What kind of money are you looking to spend...If you provide that information it would be much easier to find out what your better options are within your budget.

hi i can spend a few hundred dollars. what do you recommend for a only headphone application?
