Hi,

Bose is not a well regarded brand around here, they often make comfortable headphones but in terms of sound quality you can get better headphones for the price.

AudioTechnica M50s are a solid pick. You should also consider Creative Aurvana Live and Gemini HSR-1000 (Takstar Pro 80) you can read a lot about this headphones in this forum.

You should also consider Shure SRH-840 and SoundMagic HP-100. Both are very good headphones that often cost around 200 dollars, but prices may vary and probably you can find a good deal.

Best Luck!

If you want to save some cash and still get an great headphone check out my sale thread for the ue6000.

The ue6000 originally retailed for $200 but since they've been discontinued the prices have come down alot.

their slightly v shaped sound signature makes them good for just about all genres of music.

check out the review on innerfidelity for more info
