If this helps at all in describing what I am looking for: when I mix in the studio I have a pair of NS10, a pair of ProAcs and a pair of Genlecs with a sub.
I mix primarily with the Genlecs and occasionally switching to the ProAcs to check on smaller and more neutral speakers. I rarely ever go to the NS10. If the analytical sound that you describe is the mid-rangey and bottom-empty sound that in the world of speakers you would get from NS10 then I guess I would want the less-analytical sounding UE... Does that help describe what I wish to hear?
