This will be my first set up and I would appreciate some recommendations. I am looking for a Tube amp and DAC desktop setup for the Sennheiser HD650 headphones. My price range is $1000 for amp and DAC. Looking for the best sound at this price range. I might want to upgrade my headphones in the future. I was thinking about the Lyr and Biforst or the WA7.  Which would be the better of the two? Any other good combos for this price range?

I'd go with the Schiit Audio Valhalla Amp ($350) and Schiit Audio Bifrost DAC ($350).  It'll save you a bit of money for the overall AMP/DAC setup but will deliver reference quality audio.
