I need to get a pair of phones that I can use portably, with or without an amp cuz I have an e6 and will probably getting a Leckerton soon. Portable use is for mostly use at school, but I might also use them as primaries at home if they are comfortable enough. The maximum I'm willing to spend is $150. Currently I'm looking at the AKG K142 and K172. I have the K140, so I know they comfortability issues, so if I get either I will mod them to be circumaural. Any reccomendation?
