I did quick search on google about how to turn a wired headphone into a wireless headphone, but most of what i found was about bluetooth devices and listening to TV around the house.

So basically what i wanted to do was connect my headphones into my MP3 player wirelessly, which, by the way, has no bluetooth. I have Bose's Soundtrue headphones and their headphone jack isn't the standard 3.5mm either so if someone could recommend me something it'd be awesome.

You're going to need 3 things:

1. A bluetooth transmitter for the MP3 player, like this one: http://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Transmitter-TaoTronics-Connected-Transmission/dp/B00P24XKS8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1449064380&sr=8-3&keywords=bluetooth+transmitter

2. A bluetooth receiver for your headphones, like this one: http://www.amazon.com/Mpow-Streambot-Bluetooth-Streaming-Smartphones/dp/B00MJMV0GU/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1449064603&sr=8-3&keywords=bluetooth+receiver

3. A cable with 3.5mm on one end and 2.5mm on the other to connect the receiver to the headphone plug. http://www.amazon.com/Your-Cable-Store-Stereo-Remote/dp/B003UE2EHK/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1449064893&sr=1-1&keywords=3.5mm+to+2.5mm+cable+1ft

I made my V-Moda M80's wireless with a receiver like that to connect to my phone. Attached it to the headphones with a strip of velcro and bought a 1ft aux cable. FYI there will be some noticeable white noise on quieter tracks.
