I would like to build a replacement cable for my HD600's. I can solder and have purchased Cardas Sennheiser plugs off e-bay. I am thinking about using silver-plated copper. What AWG/geometry do you recommend? What materials do I need to get? Thanks.

I bought some twisted 22awg silver plated copper with teflon off e-bay. I'm going to solder on a Radio Shack 1/4" stereo plug and the Cardas plugs on the other end. I just want to know what to use to shield it. What is nylon multifilament? techflex? Do I need a shrink wrapping machine or ??
