I'm torn between Hifiman He-560's, Audeze LCD-2 rev 2's, and Grado Rs1 or Rs2 variants. Price not being a issue, which is the better choice ? I'm using Shire 1840's at the moment. I want a upgrade. Please list from best to worst. Thanks!

What music do you listen to mostly?

Of the ones you list the HE-560 would be my choice because the LCD-2 is too bulky and the Grado are not comfortable and technically are inferior to the planars.

Best
HE-560
LCD-2
Grado RS1 and RS2 are tied for last

What do you not like about the Shure 1840's that makes you want to "upgrade" ?

LCD2 has the best musical bass slam (mediocre rumble though), drum kick & mid-range body out of any headphone.
Imaging, especially for drum & guitar instrumentals is among the best I heard.
Treble isn't great though & the soundstage can feel a tad bit constricted.

Absolutely great for rock & general pop music.

HE-560, from what I read, are more bass light. have a better soundstage & more better resolution for the treble.
They compar with the Beyerdynamics T1.

The Hifiman HE-500 is a better comparison to the LCD2, if you want the strong bass authority & musicality.

Haven't heard the Grado's.

Home use. I've leaned towards the Hifiman He-500 over the 560. Currently I am using a SMSL ess9018 DAC and Schiit Asgard 2 amp.Reading a past post from a user who also owns a pair of 1840's. My only choices would be HD 800, akg 812/702 or LCD-3's to really see a improvements. Hifiman too. Beyerndynamic is unimpressive.
