My friend is getting a beautiful new Samsung LCD and needs a good HDMI cable to attach his HD digital cable box, then possibly another source as well. What are some recommended cables?

How can you not recommend Blue jeans?

They have a great product at a great price, and they ship quickly!

It's a bit a stiff and very thick though.

Bluejeans cable is great if you want a solid quality product at a reasonable price.

Monoprice is great if you want the most inexpensive cable that WORKS. I just ordered some HDMI cables in short lengths for 1/10 the price my local electronics price wanted.

One of the great things about Blue jeans is that that have varying lengths.

I like to keep my cables as short as possible, like to keep things neat.

Why use a 3 foot cable when a 2 foot cable will do?

As far as I could see, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but that MonoPrice place had one length available.

OK, that's better than a lot of other places, they have lengths available in increments of 3 feet.

Now Blue Jeans has increments of 1 foot from 2 feet up to 10 feet.

Just some more food for thought.
