No one can answer that for you other than your ears. However, if you want to listen to other people, I wouldn't get the EB's. They are too muddy. Get the other super.fi 5's.

No, it's alright. I encode at 320 kbps as well...

Lossy encoders are getting very, very good.

I'd try and swing the 5 pros- they have a good balance between detail and the extra bass oomph you're looking for.

The er6i's are great, but they're all about detail (too harsh for a number of people) and don't have a whole lot to offer in the extra bass department.
