Yesterday, my wife asked me to buy her these earphones. I am familiary with this website and wanted your input before I spend around $125 for these earphones.

Is there a better alternative?

Has anybody reviewed these?

Your input is appreciated.

Thanks

Anthony

Welcome.... wait you've been here for years!

Here's a good start. Basically you can do much better for the price and the same for much less.

Do a search, the A8 have been discussed on this forum... not with positive results.

People say they are much too expensive for the sound quality they provide.

I mean, for the same money you can get something that sounds *much* better, or you can get the same sound quality from earphones that cost *much* less than the A8.

Hey Anthony !!

As blessingx said, be prepared and sorry for your wallet. One thing is good: your wife likes headphones...

About the A 8, it is no good at all. Hard to believe but it is truth. Very nice but sounds bad and it is extremely uncomfortable ...

For this kind of money, you have other choices.

I can't help you if you decide for a different stuff because I do not have other earphones. I use earplugs (Etymotics) and headphones.

Hope it helps.

Welcome.

Thanks for feedback. Now to sell wife on your suggestions....

I have narrowed it to the Koss KSC-35, E888's or MX-500 based on your feedback.

Is there anything else that I should consider or does this cover it?

While I agree that the Etymonics are probably the best (based on the reviews), my budget is under $100.

Thanks

Anthony
