I'm looking on Radioshack.com for an adapter for my Sony D-131. It says I need a DC IN 4.5V - so, is this adapter from Radioshack the right one for me?

If so, does anyone know which type of adaptaplug I need? Would this adaptaplug be the right one?

Or am I just being boneheaded and should I drive up to my local Radioshack? I'd much rather go through the web site. Free ground shipping!

Just go to radio shack and get a 4.5 volt one. A 5v one might work too. You should take the player with you to make sure the tip fits, although at one point I had a multiple voltage wall wart that had 4 or 5 different tips from them. Of course I can't find it now
