Hey all,
Just got a Fiio m11 last week, and it's a great piece, as the reviews mostly suggest- fast, well built lots of features, and all the good things.
The problem is power output related. On all the Chi- Fi IEM's I purchased, they sound fantastic through the balanced inputs IF they have removable cables. If not, the power to drive them through the unbalanced input is anemic. Thd output specs verify that, but these are mostly16 ohm iem's with very high efficiency. When I add the fiio A3 amp to the M11, it is great again. Shouldn't a DAC portable at this level be able to handle that? Shoud i keep the M11 or look for something else?
