Hi there!
I am a newbie just got into the world of "high quality listening experience" life.
I currently own a pair of Grado SR80i and a pair of Audio Technica ATH-A500 with a Audiotrak Prodigy CUBE USB DAC with integrated Headphone amp. I listen all my music through the DAC. I have swapped the original op-amp to LME49720.
The Grado sounds great with the LME49720. High is sweet though somebody may think it's too forward. But the A500 doesn't sound that good with this op-amp.
The kinds music I always listen to are Rock, POP, Jazz and some classics, but mainly into rock.
I would like the lead guitar sound really stand out from the rest of the band like "Why Don't You & I" - Santana and "Walk this Way" - Aerosmith
Which op-amp is suitable for that kind of music?
