They will provide you with plenty of bass. The highs, while detailed enough, aren't nearly as harsh as they are on your Senns. They're closed, and they'll sound great for gaming and movies. Plus they cost under $200.

Be warned, though: You'll need an amp to get the most out of them.

NGE!!!! (aka Evangelion; eh-van-ghel-e-on), they won't sound bad, but they will sound better with an amp, I'd say that they require an amp much less than the HD600...

Hmm where is says the cord is 6.0, does that mean it is 6 meters long? If so, thats a little too long for me

I just read the review for these in the above sub-forum. One concern I have now is that there might be TOO much bass. If you had asked me, I would have told you that wasn't possible (Im a bass fanatic), but the reviewer said he was the same way and he found it a little intense.

if you can trade closedness for quality maybe you should think about the grado 225s. the only thing is the grado harshness. i've only heard the 225s briefly and never the senn 212s but i didn't find the 225s that harsh. not nearly as harsh as i used to find the v6s anyways.
