When you get them, don't judge them untill they have had plenty of burn in time. Initially it will sound kind of thin and tinny, but the more you listen to them the better they sound. After about 50 hours burn in for the most part is complete.

Well it may be too late to change your mind...but I have the Beyer DT770 Pro and it is definitely better for gaming, movies and rock/electronica/lots of other music than the W100. I haven't posted my final impressions of the W100 yet...but I don't think it will ever be better than the 770 for the aforementioned.
