I use a psp as my portable player, and the only problem that I have with it is that the output volume is a tad low. For IEMs like my marshmallows the psp is fine, but I just bought PX100s and the psp sadly needs some help powering these.

Can someone recommend me a cheap portable headphone amp just for the sole purpose of increasing the volume. If the amp has to have an effect I guess I would prefer some more bass.

I was looking into buying or building a cMoy but I dunno, what do you guys think? I'd rather not waste my money because I'm a little low on it right now.

Does the PSP have a line-out or just a headphone out?

just a headphone out. It has some kind of funky port next to it used with the psp remote but I doubt it has to do anything audio wise.
