Hi. I'm only now getting into head-fi after a bunch of reading. While I was browsing through my dad's audio stuff. He doesn't know if any of these are any good. I've tried Google, but it never returns any opinion. I want to connect it to my headphones and my computer, but they are pretty heavy and I don't want to move something over to my desk if I'm not sure about it.

music through my itouch seems a bit recessed. not an issue with cd. itouch probably does not have enough power

The only thing I can add is that the CLD-2710K can play CDs and vinyls, which is pretty cool. And it says D/A Converter on the front.
