I am looking for a microphone. I'd like it to be a headset type so i am not constantly leaning over to speak into it. The problem is that I dont want to be limited to crappy headphones just because I want a microphone.

Does anyone make what I want?

Haha... I should have known not to post on headfi without revealing my college student budget.

I should have also said what I wanted to use it for. I want to dictate long papers instead of typing. I have heard great things about Vista's WSR and think it would be a big help to me. I also want to try Rosetta Stone lessons and I suppose that needs to be pretty accurate as well.

While those two look great they are way out of my price range.

Something like this maybe:
RadioShack.com - Home Entertainment: Accessories: Microphones & accessories: Headset Microphone with Gooseneck Boom

Anyone have any experience with similar products, lets say under $100...

...yup..on Head-fi u get the best suggestions unless u mention your budget ..

if u r on strict budget & only need to dictate on Vista then u can buy any decent mic...Audio Technica also makes a $40 microphone i think.

Checkout Panasonic mics.
