So I decided to recable my grado SR80's.. no big, really easy feat, I have no problem soldering, no big, all should be good. Got the left side done, went to do the right side... unsoldered the cable and then bam.. the solder pad instantly came off with the wire.. Driver = dead.
 
I assume Grado will have no desire to help me out, nor sell me a separate driver I am sure, which as it seems you can't get anywhere anyway.
 
Does anyone have any ideas for this sad sad man?

Hey,
I also was doing modding on SR80i and I don't know how I damaged it but in the end I got one driver to produce some noise on bass on high volumes. Do you have SR80 or SR80i? If it is SR80i then either I could sell the good driver to you or vice versa.
