Hi new here. I'm looking for a good usb dac as i'll soon be pushing out my HT omega claro port wise on my computer. I figure I may as well switch from rca on my samson resolve 65a to XLR. My cans right now are a paltry HD 555 but i'm looking for some usd HD600s or 680s.

I saw a review on here about HLLY high end mk III is it any good?

Question; is this DAC better than the EMU 0404 2.0 USB?

I have never heard the EMU 0404, but I would say yes.  Does the EMU have balanced out puts?
