Now I've got a couple of headphones, I'd like to get a stand for my desk.

This Woo Audio double HPS-T stand looks great :

But maybe a little pricey? Just wondering what else is decent quality to hang 2x headphones..

You can find a whole bunch of stands on Amazon, and if you’re looking for something a little more artisanal, check Etsy. They have a pretty decent selection of interesting headphones stands and hangers.

(out of stock now, but I paid like 3 gbp for each)

This type makes me nervous because they’re so thin, meaning the weight is all carried on one pressure point on the headband.

With some headphones, I’d be worried about that damaging the headband over time.
A valid concern that I also had. But after researching a lot I found out that these won't damage them. Heck those wooden stands might do more damage since you won't let the pads breathe and the cups might get stretched more than you want.

As you can see, the headband on theSony mdr-1am2 isnt even dented.

Personally, I think something that adheres to a free surface would save room than a stand. Like the one that adheres above, but I don't see why they can't go for a dollar at a dollar store. lol You see much more complex stuff at dollar stores.

Because if you get a stand, you'd have to find shelve space. I think stands are for if you like to display headphones.
