Asus Xonar DG (PCI, $26), not as dedicated a gaming card as the Titanium, but should be just as good for music and movies.
and it's cheaper.

As it's the older Titanium, adding an external (optical input) DAC and a headphone amplifier might be a good idea sometime in the future.
As the Titanium can send CMSS-3D headphone surround sound thru the S/PDIF optical out.
If you can afford the Titanium HD it is a pretty decent DAC and still has the features for games. They can be had on Ebay for just a touch over $100. I think it is one of the best mixes of music/gaming you can get in an internal soundcard.
