[Noobiiee]

Any one have had experience with this amp? I had his portable amp, which works really great but not sure how this amp can compete with other deskamps in the same price range???

I use one, fantastic bit of kit.
 
I cannot comment on how it compares to others as I dont own any, but can tell you it is very well made, very good value and Neco is a great chap to deal with.
 
Sound wise the version i chose with the AD8620 op amp is very detailed and punchy, but not harsh in any way, it has plenty of power for something like the 650's i use and makes a very valuable upgrade with my ipod, irdock combination.
 
Tried the amp from my Rotel 971 and found it suffers nothing by moving upto a higher quality source (and higher output voltage from the cd player too) where it resolved bass lines that actually left me stunned.
 
Neco has just tweaked the design to run in class A which he tells me has the edge in SQ over the version I purchased.
