ive been googling for a while now and found a bunch of threads on the e17 but i cant find one for the e17k. Can i use the e17k as an amp and dac for my iphone 5s, and if so what cables do i need. Also if i am using the e17k with the micro usb cable to attach to my macbook pro mid 2010 will it act as a amp and dac?

For the second question: It should. Check your audio properties and make sure it's listed.

For the first, probably but you'll need some hardware first.

First thing you'll need is the L9 adapter

Then you'll need a Lightning to 30-pin adapter

It should work.
