stuff that I'm listening to a lot lately and has become a permanent resident on my iPod:

Silvercrush - (2002) Stand

The Calling - (2002) Camino Palmero

and either one of these

3 Doors Down - (2002) Away From The Sun
3 Doors Down - (1999) The Better Life

A good place to find out about these and other bands:

If it is not to much of a bother would be very grateful if folks could be a little more specific on label etc...

At least on the ones that are incredible presssings. I like a lot of the music listed but trying to build a hot-list of great pressings. Otherwise I buy the cheap used ones. $2.50 for Eagles Greatest Hits is on my list.

Ok I do not have the details handy either. Still making up my mind. Do not expect most people to go thru the trouble. But again if you have a treasure you want to share would be welcome to know more specifically about the album if it is not only the music but also the quality of the pressing.

Just a friendly request.

Isn't that album called "Deja Vu" Rick? Fantastic album and beautifully recorded - even the cd has a super analogue sound.

Nope. He's talking about Crosby, Stills & Nash (fantastic album!...Helplessly Hoping blows me away every time!). Deja Vu is a different album.
