The Naim and the Heed were discussed in this forum at another site.

Post photos of your headphone rigs here! - SH Forums

I just ordered a Burson HA-160, a competing solid state amp.

Have not recieved it yet.

I will use the HA-160 with AKG K702 and Sennheiser HD650 headphones, also on the way to me.

6moons had a very favorable review of the Burson HA-160, especially with the K702. One of the headphones targeted with the Burson design was the HD650.

6moons audio reviews: Burson Audio HA-160

Food for thought anyway......hope it helps.

Sorry to interrupt your post OP.

Since I have failed to get Heed CanAmp from Canada, I am planning to get this one.. Is there anyone can add more great review of yours toward HA-160?

It is too hard to get good headphone amps in Canada lol.

I have not heard the Naim, but I can say that I did not particularly enjoy the CanAmp/HD650 combination. The CanAmp seemed to provide a low-end boost that made the HD650's bass seem tubby and slow. Replacing the CanAmp with a standard KICAS has resulted in significantly more enjoyable listening sessions.
