There is no firewire or USB input from computer to DAC, but there are 8 digital inputs, an input for a USB stick, and an input for an ipod, which seems to bypass the ipod's internal DAC as the Wadia iTransport does. The DACs are the same as in the CD555 and it can be connected to one of Naim's external power supplies. The claim of no jitter seems to be ridiculous. I expect we will reading much more about this DAC in the coming weeks. Price is listed as 1950 British pounds.

I don't think that Naim themselves claim 'no jitter at all' but the way I read it, is that it's insensitive to jitter in the incoming signal, because that signal is buffered in a memory. It sounds like the same mechanism that Mark Levinson products use with their First-in-first-out (FIFO) buffer.
