I have an M51 DAC that displays 48k regardless of source and music file type i.e I have played 44.1/16 and 96/24 ALAC files through the HDMI (Tivo and ATV2), Optical (ATV2) and USB (Macbook Air) connections. I thought the display should show the sample rate of the music being played but instead always shows 48K. Am I missing something? Could it be that the correct sample rate is being played just not displayed? I believe the FW version is 1.41 (must check that again later).
