Jsut wondering if anyone has tried these ?
The T531 has had some great reviews from the mags ( but i dont trust mags ).

I trust the opinions of this board far more than i will even trust a magazine

anyways the T531 uses BURR-BROWN chips for the CD circuitry, not sure about the T571 ( 5 disc version ).
Both play DVD's as well which is the primary purpose but if i can also replace my aging Sony CDP then all is good

also helps me justify spenig this much on a DVD player

Can't be very helpful, I'm afraid, other than saying I bought my mother a T531 for Christmas and have been VERY impressed with its CD performance too: nice and natural-sounding, to my ears. (I only saw the reviews afterwards.)
