The MZ-R910 is different the the MZ-N910. R stands for recorder, N stands for NetMD.

The MZ-R910 was Sony's last Non-NetMD Portable Recorder, probably the last one IMO.

Be aware that when buying new MD units from europe, all the new models are restricted to a 2mw output.

I got my N10 thinking it would be the standard 5mw, only to find out after purchasing that it's 2mw. Bloody feeble output. So much so that i'm thinking of selling the thing.

how about units bought from japan?


PLEASE tell me theyre standard 5mw.....

Whoa, anyone know is the North American versions are 2mw or 5mw?
