Haha. I think I will give it a try. It seems to be highly rated by everyone here.
The only Hifiman I have is the HE6, which is very old. I am very interested on how much they have been improved over these years.

No... it actually doesn't. It looks like Mytek found some chinese OEM clone thx aaa amplifier and used ms paint to throw down some Arial that was poorly copied from another picture on top of a picture of said non-inspired copy-cat looking crap. I'm not accusing them of that, but that is how it looks... for sure not "sexy" - nothing inside that thing is sexy. The alps blue isn't even sexy in any sort of way unless you are coming from one of their little RK09's. Maybe they should throw a fuse in there while they are at it.

Well, I assume all THX AAA amp section should look very similar as they are from the same reference design. At least it looked more like the Benchmark HPA4 than the cheaper S.M.S.L. SP200. I am not an expert on analog potential meter, as long as they do not scew up the channel imbalance or distort the sound, I will not mind that much. I will not say it is RK50 "sexy" for sure, but I very much prefer it over an digital volume control though.

Well. I already got my headphone, and there is not much interesting amp around the same price. Hence, I think I will just wait~
It is covid, my GPU, CPU and hard drive took even longer , and most of them are not even new product

My dealer says they will ship last Firday, but I still have not got any confirmation today. Guess the waiting game continues~
