So what is inside the Manhattan, Broolkyn, Stereo-DSD192, and even the older Stereo-96-Dac ?
When i look at all the different Mytek-boards it looks as if all Mytek Dacs use the same chip:
Texas Instruments TPA6120
i'm no electronics technician but i believe they even use a similar circuit-design...
If i follow the tiny 'copper-lanes' ( i do not know the correct english word these chips look like connected directly to the Hp-Out-jack on the board. Manhattan & Brooklyn use cables for the connection , the older Stereo-96 Dac & Stereo-192DSD-Dac are connected about the board 'copper-lanes'
Only the Manhattan & Brooklyn use two chips next to each other (because they use sym. HP Amps circuit )
i wonder because of the big price difference of these Mytek models.
It does not mean the TPA6120 is a simple or cheap design. I Think it performs very well and has very good specs !
