and boy ol boy that little black box really rocks!

the whole thing is filled with Rockabilly and DooWop and 1950's music from one of the biggest collections in the Country. And I am around half way thru encoding my collection. I need more space, and was really hoping for a larger capacity Zune then the tiny 120gig. Oh well...

Maybe I'll get several Amp3's and some 16gig cards, same for the clip plus..

Have a card each with different genre's, one for my Christmas/Halloween music, one for Rap, one for World/trance...

I don't give a hoot for features, I just want a good sound and space...!

Rockabilly, DooWop, 1950's, christmas music, rap and trance.... what, no polka?

That is a pretty diverse set of tastes you have there.

I am from Mexico honey, a small remote and desolate village, and I have many, many Spanish Polka's and I need a card for those as well!!!

Music is my Life, as I also perform..... the 1950's music is the most daddy-o!

Here I am singing with the surviving members of the Solitaires, at the Gold Coast Casino in Hepcat City, AKA Las Vegas Nevada.

I want your entire collection.

sure, purchase a ZuneHD, maybe 6 of them, send em to me and I'll fill them up!

You will be the most Boppin'est Zune hater in the Country!

But a strange thing happens when the knocked out bass from a Rockabilly barn burner starts playin'... Your feet get to movin'... hands get to clappin' and you say to yourself, "That flat out gits it!'

.....

*this would be the perfect time to share a Rockabilly mp3 here, but I don't know if the headfi rules allow it*

I have been traveling around the Country with the soul purpose of collecting music, for many years, plus being involved with some of the acts/groups, they give me CD's..

Wow, you ripped all that? What format did you rip to?

Mp3's...

Lots of 128... then realized I should go bigger, so many 192/256/320...

the 128 does work great though on many of my CD's where the original source was lacking in quality...

for the Neo Rockabilly and DooWop atleast 256k if not higher...

I was worried about space on my Zune120 but instead hit a 30,000 song file limitation... (that sucks microsoft, bunch of SQUARES!)

You can try AAC with lower bitrate, it is more efficient codec.
Also you can buy some rockboxable hdd-based player and upgrade it to a 240GB (ipod 5g suppports such hard drives, not sure about gigabeat f/x).
Kenwood HD60GD9 also supports 240GB drives, but they are too thick... but, if you can mod the case
