My wife wants pink earbuds..

Pink.

So she has some really bad earbuds that came with her mp3 player and I have convinced her that she does need something with a bit better quality but her stipulation is that she wants something "pink and cute".

I know that's a pretty terrible qualification for buying some earbuds but is there any hope for me?

(Note: She doesn't like IEMs, say they hurt her ears)

A pair of Yuin PK3, some fine sandpaper, pink spray paint and clear coat.

Or maybe even glossy pink spray paint so you can forget about the clear coat.

I would lightly sand the body of the earbud (not the tip), mask the tip, cable and any holes with painter's tape, then paint away.

It's actually been done before. Someone did this with a pair of Westone UM1 with success.

Unfortunately the jvc gummy sounds terrible in my opinion. I took a chance on a pair when I had no headphones with me.

These might be alright...Panasonic's lower end headphones are not stellar, but they are alright for the money spent. They aren't earbuds though...
