I got this unit for about a month and the output is dead today!!

Input source is OK as the "lock" light is on as I have tried to switch to alternative source input.

I don't have a clue as to what's is happening & I have just sent Ken an email and hopefully he can help to resolve my problem.

Anyone can help or suggest anything that goes worng??

Regards

Yikes hope he isn't using poor quality parts along with poor customer service

From reading threads it seems like MSN is the fastest way to contact him. Best of luck in getting this sorted out.

Check the fuse. The guy who I sold my D02 to had same kind of problems and the first thing Ken suggested was to check the fuse. That solved the problem and now it works fine again.

J-Pak might be able to revive it.

What did it turn out to be?

That's nice, but do you know what actually broke on it?

The best way is to replace it.

So it broke because it was a prototype model? Also, what do you mean 'of pioneer model"?

I've given up...
It doesn't seem like he wants to say (if he knows)...

Sorry that if I have not made it clear earlier.

Anyway, this is not due to blown fuse nor loosen connectors. The input to the DAC is OK as I said there is clear indication of "lock" signal shown on the unit but there is just no output.

I have asked for the replacement DAC board to try out but after discussion, Ken decided to change the unit.

I have to wait knowing that there is a long queue currently for D02A and I just have no other better choice under such circumstances.

Regards
