First off I got home opened the package and foud it packaged average. Styrofoam etc. So I got my wires which it (DIDNT INCLUDE) as with most other speakers and hooked it up.

Now it didn't have the clamp it had a binding post which for the newbs like me you just stick the bare wire through the whole and screw the cap on. Anyways I hooked it up to my ghetto Panasonic receiver from about the 1980's.

I turned on my computer and played my first song.

The first song I played was a rap song (Heat it Up - Bubba Sparxx) and immediatly I was enriched in a powerful bass. Overpowering? Mabey for some but not me.

Second song was The Riddle by Five for Fighting. I was amazed with the highs it was very good in my opinion. Good as a $200 set? I would say a little under par but still very good. I think it was worth $100 for the pair.

Third song was Brenda's got a babey - 2Pac The mids are clear and very distinguishable.

I am very pleased with these speakers specially only paying $42 for them.

Pro's:

-Lots of Bass (Could be Bad or Good)
-Very Good Highs
-OK Mids
-EXTREMELY GOOD PRICE

Cons

-Mids are under-powered by bass

My Recomendation: BUY THEM NOW

-Not your average $500 speaker system but closest thing to it.

My Recomendation: BUY THEM NOW

What do you expect when a 15 year old does a review?

Misinformation.... lol...

Did i ever say that? No. But your review is HEAVILY FLAWED. Now you're going around everywhere making posts about how great they are. More misinformation... Not that i'm saying all of your posts about these speakers are wrong but i have to be honest and say most of them are wrong. They are not made out of gold.

I would like to ask you a question though. What speakers have you experienced and owned? I have seen from your previous post about your "speakers". Seems like you don't have much experience.

edit: next time you edit your posts... please include what you previously posted instead of editing it out.

QFT

Not anywhere close to a $500 speaker rig. Not by a long, long, shot.

Ok guys this is not spose to be a flame war. Now I'm going to edit and put something els but the intended purpose of this thread was to give new people the idea and recomendation of these speakers. I know you guys don't think much of these because you probably have years experience with $1000+ systems. But new people want to know this because they are cheap and usually new guys don't want to spend over $200 for speakers.

Sorry and you guys take it way to seriously. Loosen up a little bit.

EDIT: Also I just got these so I never had any post saying how great they are other than this one.

Then maybe you shouldn't make false claims. These speakers can't even compare to speakers in the $200 and under range. Saying they are doesn't help anyone, it just gives them false impressions and high expectations. There's already an extremely long thread on these with lots of helpful information in it.

First of all I know I messed up the first time. I edited it. Now your also making false claims when you said they don't compare to the $200 and UNDER range. They are far better than anything under it in price. I know however that you meant OVER the price. And I know. I deffinetly exadurated a little bit. Also have you even heard the speakers? If you havn't you can't accuse me of making false claims. If you had, you are entitled to your opinion. Now let some people read it now that it's fixed and let them decide if they want to purchase it or not.

How would you know if they can compare with anything udner 200 dollars? Have you experienced other bookshelf speakers under 200 dollars? And about your post about us taking it so seriously. Of course we're supposed ot take it seriously, no one want to blow money (this isn't a little amount either) on things and find out that they were givent he wrong information and the item they brought were extremely OVERRATED. This thread is pretty much useless because peopel can look at the other bigger and more informative thread with much better experience opinions instead of bias false opinions.

Edit: according to your new and edited "review". Those opinions seems like they were FORCED to be put on there.

I have heard them on multiple occasions. They sound great for $50, but not much more. The bass is bloated, the mids are congested, and the speakers are just generally unrefined.

BTW-$200 and under generally refers to items in the $150-200 range. Also not to be a pedantist, but please look into a spell check program.

Hey cut him some slack! My first review of something was far worse..
Let him have his 15 minutes of reviewer's glory. Live and learn. When he tries that 500 USD speaker then he will change his mind..

I think whoever is guilty should be the person who actually takes the review without a grain of salt.. Actually a tablespoon of salt..

Ok the edit was not force. The reviews are not false because they are simply opinions and if you know what opinions are you know that it's what you think. Now take it or leave it.

There is a difference between false opinions and ordinary opinions.
