i have made my portable boombox but i am a bit unsure on what types of battery i can use with it. i would like it to last me 8-15 hours of use what i can tell you is that it draws 11 amps

all help is gratful im not worried about the size of the batter but it has to be 12volt

Considering that we have no idea about what you've actually done, since your post is so vague, no one is going to make any recommendations. Give specs and post some pictures, it might help us, and you out. BTW: Welcome to Head-Fi, sorry about your wallet!!!
