Well, I'm in audio heaven already. My x-can V.3 just arrived and my 701s aren't even really burned in yet, but the sound is absolutely stunning. I've only listened to a couple cds so far, but on "How Fortunate the Man with None" by Dead Can Dance, the initial bass notes just bulge out (the way they're supposed to), and the chimes come at me like some tornadic swirl of angels bells. You'd think the inner dome of heaven had fallen, as Robert Frost says. I have already ordered some different tubes (Mullards and others) to run through this thing, and I plan to incorporate Pink Floyd's modifications.

I can say already, though, that this is a beautiful combination. More as things evolve (and I play more music).

They pair very well, enjoy them.

In a couple of months (or weeks depending) visit PinkFloyd's website. He has a lot of mods which will tighten the base and extend the highs. Also the sound will be more detailed.
