also...does MINT eat more power then CMoy? im running dual 9v batts in my cMoy and quite happy with battery life. and input would be great

I was too lazy to put on the nuts and stuff. No clue about battery life because i have a few more buffers than normal mints. Oh, and i haven't really tested it for battery/ma draw. I'll have to look into rechargeable batteries; however, i'm quite poor right now because i've just built a Gilmore and am doing several projects at one. I'm also just a teen with little money, must take DIY route.

Great job, and lots of extras! I sure hope you did not have to pay $6.50 to $9.50 apiece for the Blackgates. If you did get a hot deal, please share your source.

I think i paid around $5.50 per piece of Black Gates. I got them from partsconnexion.com
Because of the large size of the caps and extras, it was hard casing it and finding ergonomic positions for the panel mounted components.

Damn it!! I took the amp out of the case and put it back in. No sound and i find 2.9v of DC per channel! What the hell!?

And it worked before? I'd check to see if something's loose.

I really don't know what's wrong. I measured the voltage for the op-amp and got the correct values. The rail splitter i have is splitting voltage correctly. The op-amp gets very hot, but doesn't smoke. This problem hasn't occured since i built the amp.

I've determined the problem was the opamp. It was damaged. I replaced it and now the dc is still around 15-20mV. I think the opamp was damaged when i took the amp out of the case and possibly discharged the capacitors? The led lit up a little, even without the batteries. Is this the capacitor dicharging?
