Neophyte-

Just a plain old piece of red oak. I used some cherry stain and three coats of minwax semigloss to finish it. A two-foot length of 1x6 would be all you'd need. Most lumber shops would have it, but in the Baltimore area, I went to Tidewater Hardwoods, over by BWI.

I am going to get much more exotic with my next one. There is so little wood involved it is pretty cheap.

Nice case! Great execution and pics.

And the case is big enough for you to reuse for a META w/crossfeed when you feel like changing the amp design.
