they were beautiful and ruby. I loved them with all my heart. the sound quality was awesome, they were comfortable (for the most part, when they were uncomfortable it was just the whole 'foreign object in the ear' thing) and very affordable.


but today they finally fell apart in my backpack

. they had been breaking slowly for a while, with the backs coming off of each headphone, and today they finally fell completely apart. I was planning on gluing them back together, but today's damage isn't repairable.


so I guess I'm looking for a new pair of IEMs. preferably around the same price range (~$60) but with the same awesome sound quality. I guess it'd be cool if they didn't fall apart after a year, but I'm going to use headphones a lot less after this school year's over so I'll probably be much gentler on any new ones.

what exactly happened?
If its a wire problem, its repairable.

my problem is less along the lines of a wire problem and more of a "lets just say my dog ate them" problem
