The first question that comes to mind is what camera does NASA use. I also imagine it's so bright up there, they are using huge f-stops, hence the ultra depth of field and detail.

I wonder it they aren't IMAX stills.

NASA uses Nikon cameras and lenses as I recall. They considered Canon, but the flourite lenses don't survive launch well.

If these are IMAX then I have no idea.

Wow awesome pics! A little surreal to look at.
NASA used to use Hasselblad in the old(er) days. Not sure if they still use that. Edit: in 1962 the first pic with a hasselblad has been made in space by NASA. I believe that from what I've read they still you use it.

Dude, we build the robotic arms that the Shuttle uses, and the one on board the ISS.

Canada = space robotics!
