I decided to open up my AD700s today as per feeling a little adventorous. After disassembling them I found these coushy black things between the grills and the drivers. I decided to remove them (cause they look like the AD 2000s now) and I think they may actually sound better. THe bass seems to have increased and they do feel a little lighter. Here some pictures!

Oh and BTW the ear pads were a pain in the rear to try and get back on!

Oh and I know the grills are purple, but would it be possible to paint them you think? MAybe a silver or black? Bye!
