MY MICRO IS DEAD!! What!

well i dont know about every one that has a micro but i've had no reliablity problems so far. most people post problems on forums so thats what your seeing. no one just randomly posts "My zen micro is doing just fine" so all you see is like 90% unreliablity. its really a great product if nothing is wrong with it though

I had the same problem as you this morning. I woke up, got ready for work and chucked the Micro in my pocket. On the bus to work I tried turning it on.... nothing.... dead. I almost had a heart attack. I thought to myself "no worries, maybe the battery is dead" (I hadn't charged the battery in ages). I got to work, "borrowed" a USB cable, plugged it into the Micro and it showed the charging indicator, so I was relieved. I came back later to check on it, but it hadn't been charging! Just the charging icon flashing. So again, I thought my Micro was dead. I took it home, and using the USB cable that came with it, it started charging up properly, but this time it would only go into recovery mode (most likely because the battery was too low for it to go into normal mode). I left it to charge for 4 hours, the battery was full and now it's working perfectly again.

Phew, such a relief! I was worried over nothing

I have my Micro since mid december so far so good!! I'd second everything you say Cyclone!!!!

Yes mine is dead, dead , rip! I guess I have been unlucky lately (chaos theory) . I went up to comp usa yesterday and they had no micros in stock . So I got a refund (sort of ) , even though I paid in cash (what the hell was I thinking! ).I have to wait for them to mail me a refund check because the purchase was over 250 large

In all fairness to creative , this is the first production run, and that is where most problems occur. The risk of an early adopter I guess
