There was a misannouncement from PR saying that it was coming at the end of August. They later rescinded this apologizing for the mix-up. They also said it would air before the end of the year. I suspect sooner than that so they can release S3 toys for holiday season.

Lol. Good call though, when I think about it. Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later. I've been intermittently rewatching old episodes and while it's still cool, some new ones wouldn't hurt.

This is awesomely relevant... So I'm not sure if you all know who Steffan Andrews is (aka orchetect). In case you don't... he is the orchestral composer for MLP:FiM, and often works along side Mr Daniel Ingram on songs for the show.
